Meet the Greece Team of 2017

The Greece team is new to Lighthouse. This team of 19 will be partnering with GEM and serving on the island of Lesvos. There the team will serve the refugees by providing meals, clothes, basic needs, interacting with children, and possible construction work – meeting tangible needs of those who need it most. Pray that this team will give hope to the hopeless.15418466_10154837459843928_2452976563984627627_o

Austin and team, praying for outrageous, godly compassion that oozes from your pores in the forms of selfless actions, listening ears, hope-filled words, and radiant, contagious smiles…all stemming from a deep love for Christ. Waiting expectantly to hear how God works and how He answers prayers for those in Greece and for you…

Praying for all of you tonight!!! So excited for this experience for each of you and to see how God uses you to spread his gospel and encourage these desperate people. Much love and prayers!

Our Lord is a redeeming God and He uses bad situations to bring out good results. Thank you all for being willing to live and serve amidst a bad situation and to cooperate with Him in bringing about good. Thank you Father for bringing the nations to us and for the opportunity these young men and women have to know You more deeply and to serve those for whom You died. What a time in which to live! You all will be prayed for and loved.

My wife and I just met 10 people of this team at the airport of Munich. We prayed for their trip and had a nice conversation. May God lead you on your trip!
