SPAIN

2016 Spain Team PicKaixo (hello)! 17 students and two Taylor University faculty/staff leaders will travel to the Basque Country in northern Spain. As we partner with the Amara Church there will be many opportunities to participate in cultural events, church youth activities, and help lead worship.

Our team is partnering with several missionaries in the region to help the local church be better equipped to address pressing questions facing believers in the contemporary European scene. As a part of this trip students also have the unique opportunity to study and gain credit for Taylor University’s Contemporary Christian Belief course. They will learn in the classroom for three hours a day and then have the opportunity to put into practice what they’ve learned. Specifically, our team will serve primarily in the area of evangelism and apologetic outreach.

We have selected James 3:17 as our team verse: “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.” We thank you for your prayer and support for the ministry we will do in January.

  1. We will be praying for you and will be excited to hear how you experience God’s faithfulness and steadfast love during this time!

  2. To the Spain Team:
Blessings to you. Know that you are being prayed for continually. From the time you left throughout your stay, you will be on our prayers.
May the purity, gentleness, mercy and sincerity that comes from His wisdom be showcased through your fruits (actions and words).
May you come back renewed and yet transformed and may you speak boldly of His grace!

    Que Dios los bendiga.
